Flight School and Aircraft Rental
Get your pilot's license at Rhoades Aviation! We currently have three aircraft available for training and rental. Descriptions, hourly rates, and photos of aircraft cockpits/exteriors are shown below.
The following aircraft are available for rental after an appropriate checkout by our flight instructor. Please call for details.
Cessna 172SP
The latest addition to our fleet is a new, 2006 Cessna 172SP with the state of the art Garmin 1000 integrated avionics system. The G1000 completely revolutionizes aircraft cockpit instrumentation. Flight/engine instruments, navigation, traffic, terrain and weather are all shown on two flat panel, full color screens. The result is
increased situational awareness
and reliability for students and pilots. The interior is also equipped with leather seats
and airbags. Most new aircraft that pilots will fly in the coming years will be equipped with this type of system, so students planning to buy
or rent aircraft after getting their license may choose this aircraft for training.
